Irileth is a NPC in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. She is a Dunmer, most likely a Citizen of Whiterun and is involved with the quest Dragon Rising. Serving as the Housecarl of the Jarl Balgruuf the Greater, she pulls a sword on the player as he or she approaches the Jarl. Later, she asks the Dragonborn to assist her with defending the Watch Tower of Whiterun against a Dragon. Irileth wields an Iron Sword, a Long Bow. Offsetting her sword, she uses Sparks. After the Dragon is slain, she refuses to involve herself in debating about the player's identity as a dragon; she is simply relieved that the dragon is dead.
