Iron Armor is a type of armor in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that is a very affordable type of heavy armor. It is easy to obtain a set, as almost every heavy armor merchant will sell a few pieces.
Location and variants[]
Iron armor is the armor set given to new recruits of the Fighters Guild. It is available from level one in shops and as loot.
Rusty iron[]
A lower quality version, found only in the tutorial. They are aesthetically the same as their normal variants. There are no rusty iron boots.

- Base Armor refers to the armor rating of the piece without factoring the effects of the appropriate armor skill.
