Variants[]

Smithing[]

The iron shield requires no prerequisite Smithing level or perks to forge. It can be crafted at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:

It can be upgraded with an iron ingot at a workbench, though it does not benefit from any Smithing perks. This means the shield cannot be improved past flawless quality without boosting the Smithing skill over 100.
