Jair is a Redguard rogue and former member of the Thieves Guild. He can usually be found in his home or wandering the Temple District. He will sometimes stall the guards if the Hero is being pursued by them. If they are cast out of the Guild for breaking any Guild rules, he will not stall guards for them any longer.
When the Hero first talks to him, he claims to be a "dip," or a pickpocket. He doesn't pickpocket the Hero, however, as he claims that "You look like someone that might take offense. Too risky."
