Jhunal, called the God of Runes,[1] is the Nordic god of hermetic orders. He is often represented by an owl, a symbol rare to find among warlike Nords.[2] By the Second Era, His worship was beginning to fade.[3]. This is often attributed to a notion among Nords that anything that doesn't make one physically stronger is worthless.[4] He is absent in modern Skyrim mythology.[5]
