Jhunal, called the God of Runes, is the Nordic god of hermetic orders. He is often represented by an owl, a symbol rare to find among warlike Nords. By the Second Era, his worship was beginning to fade.. This is often attributed to a notion among Nords that anything that does not make one physically stronger is worthless, though the true reason may be due to his similarities with Herma Mora. He is absent in modern Nordic mythology. In the Ancient Nordic Pantheon, Jhunal was worshiped as the Owl, one of the Hearth Gods.
