Kaalgrontiid (Dragon Language: 
) is a colossal jade elder dragon in The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr and Dragonhold, serving as the primary antagonist of the two expansions.

Kaalgrontiid was imprisoned by Khunzar-ri in the Halls of Colossus long ago, locked behind a magically sealed door at the Summit of Rending Flames. The commander of Euraxia Tharn's forces Captain Calsivius attempted to break the seal to control him, but he was stopped. He was unleashed when Abnur Tharn used the Wrathstone. After that, Kaalgrontiid decided to lead his fellow dragons on a destructive tear across Elsweyr, seemingly in search for something. Mulaamnir and Bahlokdaan serve as his two most trusted soldiers.

The Halls of Colossus[]
After Abnur Tharn accidentally released the dragons locked in the Halls of Colossus, Kaalgrontiid is the first dragon to emerge out of the dragons' prison. He exclaims "Brothers, we are free!" before he and the other dragons fly away from the Halls of Colossus.
