- "Magnificent beasts, aren't they. Truly gorgeous creatures!"
- ―Edras Oril[src]
Kagouti are large, two legged creatures with horns native to Vvardenfell in Morrowind.
Background[]
The Kagouti are creatures seen throughout Morrowind, Vvardenfell in particular. They seem to be close family of the Alit, as is suggested by dialogue with Briring and Gudling the Rascal.[1]
Characteristics[]
Kagouti usually live alone or in small groups. They gather in larger groups only for mating seasons. At these times the females can be observed as the dominant sex. They might even sometimes attack the males.[2]
The Kagouti have a complex vocalization system. They use different calls for mating, for territorial disputes or when battling.[3]
