Malondo Stones are gold-colored, magical stones, capable of storing magical energy which can then be used for replenishing a user's magicka or recharging enchantments. Unlike Culanda Stones, Malondo stones are reusable and can be recharged. They have some similarities with Welkynd and Varla stones, among which is the Aetherial origin of material they are made of.[1]

Although it is unknown outside of Summerset Isles whether the stones are an invention or merely a discovery by the Altmer, some theorize that they were made by tinkering with meteoric glass and Ayleid stones, while others claim High Elves separately unlocked the secrets of the Ayleids and even improved upon them.[1]
