Mine Ore is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This is a radiant quest in which the Dragonborn can earn 
for selling ore collected from ore veins in mines and the wild.

Walkthrough[]
A citizen may give a suggestion of the radiant quest through dialogue, such as:
"Are you looking for work? The mines are nearby. You bring me ore, I'll give you coin."
Regardless of whether prompted, approaching an ore vein with a pickaxe in your inventory and pressing the "Activate" button initiates mining. Ore or a gem will be awarded every few swings of the Dragonborn's mining animation until the vein is depleted or the player cancels the action. Mining can also be done in a faster, safer method by attacking an ore vein with a pickaxe, which will not require any animation to be canceled should the player need to. The ore can be sold to the quest giver, although they will only accept the type of ore found in the nearest mine. Merchants also accept ore for a lesser price along with the gems found in the veins.
