Mining is a confirmed Skill that will be included in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. [1] It has been released that there will be 13 different types of ore that can be mined in Skyrim [2]such as Iron which can also be made into weapons and armor when smelted but can also be made into steel using other materials that can be mined. (Possibly Coal)
