Montocai was a first century sage of the Third Era.
Despite the fact that author of The Wolf Queen series is Waughin Jarth, Montocai is known to have written the actual text of the first four books. He had a student named Inzolicus, who continued Montocai's job and wrote the rest of the books.[1]
