Niben River Bridge is a bridge located to the east of Cropsford, connecting the Ebonheart Pact-controlled Niben Basin and the Aldmeri Dominion-controlled Nibenay Valley.
Strategy[]
The bridge is located northeast of Castle Bloodmayne, along the Niben Bay. The bridge is built to favor defenders, with towers at each end of the bridge from where flaming oil can be poured over a narrow doorway. The waters below the bridge are teeming with slaughterfish. The bridge can also be gradually destroyed by siege weaponry, barring access to both directions from the Niben river.
This makes the bridge very lucrative for either a defending or retreating army, as they can destroy the bridge in time to slow down an invasion force, forcing it to use Bridge and Milegate Repair Kits in order to rebuild the bridge and cross it; however, the bridge is one of three that cross the Niben river, and the least close to a fort, and so much less desirable and valuable in that case.
However, if a bridge such as Alessia Bridge, is destroyed, Niben River Bridge becomes an immediate solution to an invading force, which makes it a very important passageway for roundabout assault.
