The Nightshade plant can be found around Cyrodiil and Skyrim. It is a very potent poison through the Alchemy skill.
Uses
- Nightshade is one of the ingredients in Skooma.
- The Black Sacrament requires nightshade.
- During the quest Vampire Cure, five samples are needed to complete the cure.
Locations
- Growing in the Arcane University garden.
- On a table in the library of the Chorrol Mages Guild.
- Common around Skingrad, and southeast of Skingrad near a camp called Fat Rat Camp.
- Commonly sold at The Main Ingredient in the Imperial City.
- Several in Fort Farragut.
- In the Shrine of Sithis in Deepscorn Hollow (5 samples).
- In Frostcrag Spire.
Quests
Mephala
An offering of Nightshade is needed at Mephala's Shrine to approach Mephala.
Vampire Cure
Five samples are needed for the vampire cure potion.
