The Nightshade Plant is a plant found around Cyrodiil and Skyrim It is a very potent poison through the Alchemy skill.

Cultural uses

• Nightshade is also an ingredient in Skooma.
• The Dark Brotherhood sometimes leave a Nightshade at their victims as a message that it was their doing.

Quests

• An offering of Nightshade is also a prerequisite for the Shrine of Mephala quest.

Where to find

• Nightshade is most common around Skingrad.
• Five leaves of Nightshade are required as one of the ingredients needed in the Vampire Cure quest.
