- For other uses, see Hero.
Nord Hero Weapons are weapons that can be smithed at the Skyforge after talking to Eorlund Gray-Mane and completing "Glory of the Dead" from The Companions' main questline. Nord hero weapons cannot be crafted at a regular forge.
Smithing
These weapons are smithed by combining ancient Nord weapons, steel ingots and leather strips. honed and supple ancient Nord weapons cannot be used. They can be considered ancient Nord weapons, but restored. The axes, swords, battleaxes and greatswords do the same damage as their Skyforge Steel counterparts, whilst the arrows and bow seem to equate with their Elven counterparts.
Nord hero weapons can be improved at a grindstone with steel ingots, and the improvement benefits from the Steel Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
