Oil Spiders are creatures that appear in Dragonborn. They have a yellow color to them, exactly like the mind control spider, but different from their counterpart, the Albino Spider.

- No loot is dropped after death.
Recipe[]
Oil spiders can be created by the imbuing chamber inside White Ridge Sanctum using dwarven oil and albino spider pods. They, along with the other craftable spiders, are treated like scrolls.
Combat[]
Oil spiders secrete a trail of flammable oil as they move. A fire spell, Fire Breath shout or Exploding Fire crossbow bolt will ignite this trail, along with anything in its path. Fire should be used with caution, however, as oil spiders cause chain explosions when destroyed by a fire spell.
