One Hand and Shield is a weapon skill line in The Elder Scrolls Online.

  • Shield Wall: Reinforce your shield, allowing you to automatically block all attacks at no cost for [5 / 5.3 / 5.7 / 6] seconds.
    • Spell Wall: You also reflect all projectiles cast at you.
    • Shield Discipline: Your One Hand and Shield abilities cost nothing while active.

  • Puncture: Thrust your weapon with disciplined precision to deal __ Physical Damage and taunting them to attack you for 15 seconds. Also afflicts enemy with Major Fracture, reducing Physical Resistance by __ for 12 seconds.
    • Ransack: Thrust your weapon with disciplined precision to deal __ Physical Damage and taunting them to attack you for 15 seconds. You reduce the Movement Speed of all enemies hit by 60% for 12 seconds. Also afflicts all enemies hit with Minor Maim, reducing their damage done by 15% for 12 seconds. Hits up to two additional targets near the enemy.
    • Crippling Slash: Surprise enemy with a deep lunge, dealing __ Physical Damage and reducing their Movement Speed by 60% for 12 seconds. Also afflicts enemy with Minor Maim, reducing their damage done by 15% for 12 seconds. You gain Minor Heroism, granting you 1 extra Ultimate every 1.5 seconds for 9 seconds.
  • Defensive Posture: Bolster your defenses, reflecting the next spell projectile cast at you back to the enemy. While slotted, the amount of damage you can block is increased by 8% and the cost of blocking is reduced by 8%.
    • Defensive Stance: Bolster your defenses, reflecting the next spell projectile cast at you back to the enemy. The reflected spell projectile also stuns the enemy for 3 seconds. While slotted, the amount of damage you can block is increased by 8% and the cost of blocking is reduced by 8%. The reflected spell projectile also stuns the enemy.
    • Absorb Magic: Bolster your defenses, absorbing up to __ damage from the next spell projectile cast at you and healing for 15% of your Max Health. While slotted, the amount of damage you can block is increased by 8% and the cost of blocking is reduced by 8%. Absorb spell projectiles, and heal yourself instead of reflecting it.
  • Shield Charge: Rush enemy and ram them, dealing __ Physical Damage and stunning them for 2 seconds.

Blocking an attack increases the damage even further.

  • Fortress
    • Rank I: Reduces the cost of One Hand and Shield abilities by 5% and reduces the cost of blocking by 18%.
    • Rank II: Reduces the cost of One Hand and Shield abilities by 10% and reduces the cost of blocking by 36%.
  • Sword and Board 
    • Rank I: Increases your Weapon Damage by 3% and the amount of damage you can block by 10%
    • Rank II: Increases your Weapon Damage by 5% and the amount of damage you can block by 20%
  • Deadly Bash 
    • Rank I: Improves your standard bash attacks. Bashing deals 50% additional damage and cost 20% less Stamina.
    • Rank II: Improves your standard bash attacks. Bashing deals 100% additional damage and cost 40% less Stamina.
  • Deflect Bolts
    • Rank I: Increases the amount of damage you can block from projectiles and ranged attacks by 8%.
    • Rank II: Increases the amount of damage you can block from projectiles and ranged attacks by 16%.
  • Battlefield Mobility
    • Rank I: Increases your Movement Speed while blocking by 30%.
    • Rank II: Increases your Movement Speed while blocking by 60%.
