Padomay, also known as Fadomai,[1] Padhome,[2] or PSJJJJ,[3][UL 1] is a primordial deity who personifies the concepts of chaos and change. Padomay is always associated with its equal yet opposite force, Anu, and is heavily associated with the creation of the Aurbis.[4][5]

History[]

When Anu birthed its own soul to create Anui-El,[4] Padomay, being Anu's opposite did the same and created Sithis.[UL 2] Sithis and Anui-El's interplay and the conditions they set on each other would be what formed the Aurbis.[4]

It is believed that all Daedric Princes are purely Padomaic and contributed nothing to the creation of Mundus and that the Aedra are both Anuic and Padomaic.[5] Whether this is true or not is unknown, but there do seem to be deities that contradict this, most notably the Daedric Prince Meridia who was one of the Magna Ge, implying that she did contribute to the creation of Mundus and that she was partially Anuic.[6]

The Psijic Order was first founded to divine Padomay's eternal and ever-changing mystery, as it was their belief that Padomay was just as ineffable as Anu was. The Order took the name "Psijic," which is based on the Ehlnofex translation for Padomay, PSJJJJ, a word that is purposefully unpronounceable.[UL 1]

Trivia[]

  • The name PSJJJJ was intended as "a riff on YHWH in its aspect as unknowable name of God."[UL 3]
