The Painted Trolls are unique trolls found inside a painting created by the artist Rythe Lythandas. A robber entered his home and discovered Rythe's Brush of Truepaint, and used it to escape into the painting, and create the trolls to protect himself. However, the trolls killed him and still roam the forest depicted in the painting.

A Brush With Death[]
In order to escape the painting, the Brush, currently held by the dead thief, must be returned to Rythe, who is unable to get by the trolls. He will assist by giving the Hero several bottles of Turpentine, that will harm the Trolls.
