Pantea's Flute (Item)

Pantea's Flute is an item needed for the quest "Pantea's Flute" given by Pantea Ateia at the Bards College in Solitude.

Location[]

It is located at Hob's Fall Cave, close to the Frostflow Lighthouse between Dawnstar and Winterhold. It is in a chest next to a big cage at the end of the dungeon.

Returning Pantea's Flute to her will grant the Dragonborn a one-point increase to all their magic skills (Alteration, Conjuration, Destruction, Enchanting, Illusion and Restoration).

PC 360 PS3 As a quest item, Pantea's Flute may be not removable from the inventory after completing the quest.
- PC (Fix) It can be removed with the console command player.removeitem 000DABA7 1
- Version 1.2.11 somewhat addressed this: it remains, but will weigh nothing
PC 360 PS3 If the flute is retrieved while on the quest for the College of Winterhold to retrieve a staff, it cannot be retrieved later.
PC 360 PS3 Finding the flute before activating the quest prevents having the correct dialogue from Pantea after finding all the instruments. The dialogue to retrieve the flute can be had, but if it is already in inventory, it is not possible to engage in conversation with Pantea, and the quest cannot be completed.
