Path of Darkness is a Nightblade active skill in the Shadow skill line in The Elder Scrolls Online.
Description[]
Enemy targets in front of the player take 1 Magic Damage every second for 10 seconds. Paths may only be seen by player and increases movement speed 50% for duration.

- Update 7: The heal over time from this ability will now "stick" to your target, and will continue to affect them for 3 seconds after leaving the path.[4]
- Update 9: Reduced the time this morph continues to heal yourself and allies to 2 seconds after leaving the path, down from 3 seconds.[2]
- Update 9: Increased the damage of this ability and the Refreshing Path morph by 25%.[2]
- Update 9: This ability and its morphs now continue to grant the Major Expedition buff for up to two seconds after leaving the path.[2]

- Update 2: This ability can now be seen by all other player characters. Also fixed an issue where it was ticking more times than intended on a target.[3]
- Update 4: As of Update 4, this ability no longer removes the Nightblade active skill, Shadow Cloak.[5]
- Update 6: Reduced the initial cost of this ability by approximately 10%.[1]
- Update 6: Increased the damage from each tick by 50%. This ability also provides the Major Expedition buff while inside the area of effect.[1]
- Update 9: This ability and its morphs now continue to grant the Major Expedition buff for up to two seconds after leaving the path.[2]
- Update 9: Increased the damage of this ability and the Refreshing Path morph by 25%.[2]
