Pelladil Direnni was mentioned as one of many famous members of the Direnni Bloodline in the book De Rerum Dirennis. It is known, thanks to the works of Vorian Direnni, that Pelladil "had a similar role with the first Potentate" as Jovron Direnni did to Empress Katariah, and "encouraged the Guild Act without which we would not have all the professional organizations we have today." His grandson was Jovron Direnni, and his great-great granddaughter was Medora Direnni.[1]
Pelladil allegedly summoned an army of Stone Atronachs to build Blackrose Prison from the ruins of various nearby Lilmothiit ruins,[2] under orders from Potentate Versidue Shaie.[3]
