Petty Soul Gem is an item in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Characteristics[]
Soul gems are used to harvest and bind the souls of unsentient creatures. The bound soul can then be used to enchant weapons and armor, or for other arcane purposes.
The petty soul gem is the smallest soul gem, and can only carry white souls of the "petty" category. When filled with the best applicable soul, their capacity utilized in enchanting is 150.

Soul gems can be purchased from most alchemical and magical merchants. They can also be looted from mages and necromancers.
