Phaer is a town that is located on the island of Auridon, in the Summerset Isles. More specifically, it is situated south of the town of Mathiisen. Located further south is the Ayleid ruin of Ondil.

A mysterious plague is troubling Phaer's inhabitants and visitors. It used to be a mining town, but the mine is now used to quarantine the sick.
