Pine Forest is a wooded area in southern Skyrim, not far from the borders with Cyrodiil and Hammerfell. It covers a large portion of Falkreath Hold and a small part of Whiterun Hold. The settlements located in the Pine Forest are Falkreath, Riverwood and Helgen.
Geography[]
Lake Ilinalta and White River are major bodies of water in the Pine Forest. Both are abundant with underwater life, such as Fish and Mudcrabs. The forest is surrounded by two mountain ranges, the Jerall Mountains to the south and the Throat of the World to the east.
