Pointer Quests

Pointer Quests are quests in The Elder Scrolls Online that are designed to direct the Vestige to a new area within a zone and towards a new line of zone quests, or from one zone to another. Pointer quests consist of a small number of objectives where the Vestige is instructed by one character to proceed directly to another location and report to different character, thereby providing them with a quest marker to the next sequential area. With the exception of Craglorn, pointer quests are only present in alliance zones which are separated into three subzones with standalone but interconnected questlines. They offer no unique rewards and provide the lowest possible level of gold and experience when completed. All pointer quests are optional as all zone stories can be completed without them and they do not appear in the zone tracker.
