Prelates were Snow Elf priests for the Chantry of Auri-El. Their job was to tend to the Wayshrines and guide initiates on the path to the Chantry. They were slaughtered during the attack on the Chantry by The Betrayed. Auri-El later restored the Prelates to a spectral state so they could continue their duties.
