Rayelle was the Breton Princess of Shornhelm during the 6th century of the Second Era. She was daughter to King Ranser of Shornhelm who started a civil war against High Rock and Hammerfell after High King Emeric married Maraya, a Redguard noblewoman, instead of his daughter.[1]
Background[]
Rayelle was Emeric's first choice of wedlock but before the marriage papers were signed, he married Maraya, Redguard princess of Sentinel which subsequently strengthened the Wayrest-Sentinel alliances and turned out to be a prosperous agreement. However, this angered Rayelle's father, King Ranser, who waged the so-called Ranser's War on High Rock and Hammerfell.[1]
