Recipe for Distraction is a miscellaneous quest available in The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn in which the Dragonborn must locate a hidden stash of Emberbrand Wine for Captain Veleth in Raven Rock.

1. Locate the hidden stash of Embershard Wine in Raven Rock
2. Report the stash of Embershard Wine to Captain Veleth

Walkthrough

After helping Captain Veleth with the Ash Spawn near Old Attius Farm, he will tell the Dragonborn about his soldiers getting drunk off something called Emberbrand Wine. They can then offer to help find the Emberbrand Wine stash for him.

Is it difficult commanding the Redoran Guard? "It can be. Even the most experienced warriors can fall prey to petty distractions. They usually didn't amount to much, but they make my job that much harder."

Petty distractions? "Some of my own men have come quite accustomed to a spirit they call "Embershard Wine." Despise the stuff myself. It's powerful and tremendously addicting. I've seen men fail to finish even a single flask. If I knew where they were stashing the bottles, I'd put and end to it myself."

I could track the stash down for you. "You would? That would be helpful. I just don't have the time to do it myself right now."

Any idea where I can begin? "They're too smart to have left it in the Bulwark. I'd search one of the abandoned houses on the outskirts of town."

It'll turn up sooner or later. "I certainly hope so."

Just past Severin Manor, on the left side path leading to the Earth Stone, the barrel containing the wine is found in the gap between the leveled houses. Return to Veleth after locating it to complete the task.

I found the Embershard Wine stash. "Good, this will help me keep things running without having to worry about a bunch of soldiers falling asleep on duty. Here, take this for your trouble."
