(Clockwise) Basil, Vander, Cyrus, and Iszara at the Restless League's Hideout.

"My. How glibly you parrot Imperial propaganda. Perhaps an ignorant tourist like you wouldn't notice that we touch only the Empire's and Richton's ships. Excitable ship owners and Imperial fellow-travelers raise a hue and cry against plunder and piracy... But the people of Stros M'Kai know the real targets of our activities."

The Restless League was a band of pirates and freedom fighters based near the isle of Stros M'Kai in the late Second Era. They were dedicated to ending Imperial rule and reinstating the Redguard monarchy. Little is known about them, except that they appeared in The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard, and were mentioned in Pocket Guide to the Empire, First Edition: Hammerfell.

Activities[edit | edit source]

"Yes, a doubtful notion it is, piracy and politics, but there you have it."
―Restless League Pirate, opening cutscene[src]

The Restless League worked for the Crown Prince A'Tor, in secret, removing Forebear traitors on the mainland and killing Imperial emissaries who lingered too long on their borders. The League was forced to watch from afar during the Battle of Hunding Bay, since the prince would not openly affiliate with such a clandestine group for discretion's sake.[1]

They would capture Imperial vessels, throwing cargo and crates of weapons meant for the Legion overboard and robbing everyone else.[2]

Known members[edit | edit source]

"Before Iszara, we were a wild pack of nationalists with sharp swords and enthusiastic schemes."
