The Dragonborn receive a Blank Lexicon by Septimus Signus. After filling it during the quest Discerning the Transmundane it becomes a Runed Lexicon. This item disappears after the quest is complete.
Bug
- PC PS3 360 The Lexicon may not disappear after the quest is finished. When playing on the PC, to remove the Lexicon, type "player.removeitem 3a3dd 1" in the console. Or, type "player.drop 3a3dd 1" in the console to drop it. You can also leave it on the Receptacle in the quest Discerning the Transmundane. There is no known fix for PS3 or Xbox.
