The Saarthal Amulet is an enchanted amulet found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim during the quest "Under Saarthal." It has the same appearance as the Gauldur Amulet after the latter is pieced back together. The amulet decreases the cost of spells by 3%.

Acquisition

The amulet is one of the items the Dragonborn must find for Arniel Gane in order to continue in the quest in Saarthal. It does not need to be returned.

Uses

After finding the amulet, it will "point" the Dragonborn towards a wall that can be broken. This will continue the quest. The wall cannot be broken until the amulet is equipped.

•  PC   PS3   PS4   XB1   NX   The "Fortify Restoration" glitch, when combined with Alchemy enchantments and creating potions that increase skills, can be used to easily level skills up to 100.
•  PC   PS3   PS4   XB1   NX   Using the "Fortify Restoration" glitch, it is possible to achieve 100% Reduced spell cost, meaning spells cost no magicka, however the description will always mistakenly show the effect at 3% in active effects.
