The Sands Behind the Stars is a realm that the Khajiit go when they die, apparently carried by Khenarthi, as long as the deceased Khajiit followed the path of the moons. In the realm it is said there is dunes formed by Sugar and a supposed feeling of "warmth without end".[1]
