The Scholarium is a hidden library located underneath Eyevea that is also the home to the Scribing Altar. The location is accessed during the quest "The Second Era of Scribing" given to the the Vestige by Adept Irnard Rirnil, or by reading the On Behalf of the Mages Guild of all Tamriel pamphlet by the Skingrad Wayshrine.

The Scholarium is the library that was used by Ulfsild the Evergreen to research and develop the art of scribing. She helped create scribing with the help of the luminaries of magic known as The Dragon, The Netch, The Gryphon, and The Indrik. She worked years to create scribing but was unable to finish her work of the scribing altar when the Daedric Prince of Madness, Sheogorath, took over the isle of Eyevea.

Ulfsild retreated from the Scholarium, planting echoes of herself and entrusting the help of the luminaries to help locate another who will eventually finish her work.

Characters

The Scholarium starts off abandoned with only Ulfsild's familiar The Crow to look after it. Going through the scribing questline will unlock more characters to speak with.

The Scholarium has the full questline on unlocking and upgrading the scribing altar.

From here, the Vestige can select any of the three quests in any order they like:

• The Wing of the Gryphon
• The Wing of the Dragon

Once the the Vestige has finished all above quests they can finish the questline with the final quest
