Description[]
Deals 11 Flame Damage, and deals 15 Flame Damage over 8.5 seconds. (Level I)

Unlocked at Ardent Flame rank 4.

- Update 6: This ability now scales off Stamina and Attack Power and costs Stamina. Damage is mitigated by your target's melee defense statistics.[1]

- Update 4: This ability's heal no longer stacks multiplicatively when multiple player characters cast it on the same target.[3]
- Update 6: The damage from Searing Strike and its morph Burning Embers is now checked against direct damage and resist defense values.[1]
- Update 9: Increased the heal at the end of the damage over time to 69/71/73/75% of the total damage inflicted at Ranks I/II/III/IV, from 30/32/34/36%.[4]
- Update 9: The heal from this morph now applies immediately if it is recast on the same target.[4]

- Update 6: The ability Eclipse will no longer reflect back the damage over time from Twin Slashes and Searing Strike.[1]
- Update 6: The damage from Searing Strike and its morph Burning Embers is now checked against direct damage and resist defense values.[1]
- Update 6: Increased the damage over time effect applied by all ranks and morphs of this ability by approximately 15%.[1]
- Update 7: Several abilities which have damage, damage shield, or healing components that scale off each other will no longer be hit multiple times by Battle Spirit's reductions.[5]
- Update 9: The damage over time effects from abilities such as Searing Strike, Twin Slashes, or Destructive Touch can now be applied to targets that fully or partially absorb the damage from a damage shield, or targets that are blocking.[4]
