Bugs[edit | edit source]
This section contains bugs related to Secret of Arcana. Before adding a bug to this list, consider the following:
- Healing or Wall of Storms, infinitely by activating such a spell and never releasing it. This enables said spells to be cast with no magicka for longer than the power's described "30 seconds." This is very useful for leveling up magic skills. An easy way to do Alteration is put a book on a bookshelf and activate Secret of Arcana, next use telekinesis on the book and do not let go, this will result in a never ending telekinesis spell that will quickly rank you up. For Restoration go to the Throat of the World and go to the blizzard area that continuously damages you, activate Secret of Arcana and then use healing on yourself, this is a little slower as it is a novice level spell, alternatively you can have Serana as a follower and have her get damaged, then you can use the necromantic healing spell on her for more experience. Illusion can be done in the same fashion however it will take longer as the only continuous use spell is Clairvoyance and will take a while as it is a novice level spell. Just activate Secret of Arcana and then activate Clairvoyance. Conjuration is the only skill where this ability glitch isn't usable. Conjuration has no continuous use spells and therefore just get as much magic reduction armor as you can get and keep on conjuring. For Destruction, it is exactly the same as all of the other schools (excluding Conjuration), the Dragonborn can use Sparks or Wall of Storms. Once this power is activated, it is possible to cast any "streaming effect" spell, such as
