Walkthrough

Finding a Nirnroot will begin this quest. Ask any alchemist in any city and they will direct you to Sinderion, an alchemist in Skingrad. Mostly he hangs out in the basement of the West Weald Inn. He's looking for a rare root known as Nirnroot. Bring him 10 Nirnroots and he'll make you a potion called the Elixir of Exploration, which is very useful for exploring dungeons.

After delivering Sinderion 10 Nirnroots he will ask for 20 more with the promise of a stronger version of the potion if you do. After delivering 20, he will ask for 30 more to make the strong version of the elixir, and after delivering 30, he will ask for 40 more to make the grand concoction of the elixir.

When you have delivered all the nirnroots needed to make the potions, he will buy from you any other nirnroots you might have gathered, but only 10 at a time.
