Septim refers to a number of things in Elder Scrolls:

  • The in-game currency is gold coin minted into what is called Septims.
  • The members of the Septim Dynasty, a number of which play very important roles in the Elder Scrolls games. In Oblivion, your character will meet Uriel Septim VII.
