Shield Bash is an ability in The Elder Scrolls: Blades. With it, the Fugitive can use their shield as a weapon and deal extra damage to the enemy.

Usage[]
Shield Bash, if timed right, can cause a stagger, reduce damage with a block, and turn a shield into a weapon that deals damage. If one wants the damage output of heavy weapons but does not have enough physical defense, the ability can prove itself very useful. It can prove to be useful early in the game, however, when the Fugitive reaches a higher level, the enemies will be able to better counter and avoid attacks from the Fugitive, making the ability a lot harder to use effectively.
It can be used in conjunction with other staggering spells or abilities, such as Ice Spike, for combos that impair the enemy and deal significant damage. Shield Bash is one of the abilities that need to be unlocked for access to Staggering Bash later on.
