Skaal Armor is a set of light armor that appears in The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn. Although the pieces provide protection comparable to Fur Armor, they resemble much thicker fur clothing.
Locations[]
Pieces are not typically found as random loot or sold by merchants. They are, however, worn by some characters, but to obtain the armor they must either be killed, or pickpocketed with the Perfect Touch perk.
- Hunters often wear several pieces of Skaal armor.
- Skaal Village – Most members of the village wear pieces of Skaal armor.
Fixed locations[]
- Fahlbtharz – Several pieces can be looted from the corpse of Eydis.
- Highpoint Tower – Just past the large cavern where the Ash Guardian is summoned is a tunnel with several Ash spawn. Jump on the ledges to find a skeleton surrounded by a full set of Skaal armor. If the Ash Spawn attack with their fireballs, the pieces may get scattered around the tunnel.
Smithing[]
Pieces cannot be crafted or improved at a workbench, making the set less useful than other light armor sets.
