Description[]
Skeletons are the reanimated bones of the dead, and are usually summoned by necromancers or seen guarding ruins, tombs, and forts across Tamriel.[2] In battle they can bee seen holding a shield, sword, axe, club,[3] or bow and arrow and are able to use destruction magic to kill their enemies.[4] Skeletons have been known to wear armor, especially those that were ancient Nords.[5] However, some other skeletons have been seen wearing armor.[6] For unknown reasons, some skeletons' eye sockets glow blue, while others do not.[7]
As minions[]
Necromancers usually revive skeletons to serve them, as is the case with the Sload necromancer N'Gasta.[8] Though they are often used by necromancers, many of them can be found in tombs and burial crypts, particularly in the province of Skyrim.[9]
Behavior[]
Skeletons rarely fight alone, and are usually easy to kill in small numbers, but are still dangerous, considering they have skills at melee fighting and are able to use destruction magic.[10]
