Sorine Jurard is a Breton in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard.
Background
She is an old friend of Isran and can be found east of Druadach Redoubt and south of Darkfall Cave.
She'll later become a member of the Dawnguard, upon completion of the quest: A New Order, and can be found at Fort Dawnguard. At Fort Dawnguard, she sells items, most notably steel bolts. She gives the player a quest called Ancient Technology, which, upon completing objectives in the quest, allows the Dragonborn to smith Enhanced Crossbows, steel bolts, Exploding Fire Bolts, Exploding Frost Bolts, Dwarven Crossbows and Bolts, Enhanced Dwarven Crossbows, in roughly that order. She also trains the Dragonborn in the Archery skill, and teaches the Dragonborn how to make crossbows after she is recruited into the Dawnguard.
She is fascinated by Dwemer technology and culture, and complains when she cannot find a Dwarven gyro, and she asks the Dragonborn to retrieve either a stolen sack of them for her or a single gyro from the Dragonborn's inventory before heading to Fort Dawnguard.
Vampire Exploit
It is possible for the Dragonborn to acquire a large number of steel bolts from her even if he sided with the vampires by using the following exploit. First, the quest "Destroying The Dawnguard" must be active. Before going to the fort, however, create a potion of Fortify Illusion. Now go inside the fort, drink the potion, and cast the Master Spell Harmony. If the potion is powerful enough, the Dawnguard will not fight you and will, moreover, allow you to talk and shop with them. This exploit can be used to buy an armored troll, buy crossbow, buy bolts, and Spell Tomes thought initially unique to the Dawnguard.
Trivia
- The Dragonborn can get a large amount of steel bolts from her, by buying all of her bolts, and waiting two days. Because all of a merchant's items re-stock after two in-game days, the player can repeat this process and amass a large amount of steel bolts, provided The Dragonborn has the money. This same process can also be done with dwarven bolts provided the player has unlocked them.
- She can be heard having interesting and informative conversations with Gunmar, mostly about other members of the Dawnguard. Some of the things they mention would probably not be received well by other members, so this may indicate a certain trust between them.
