Soul of a Lich is a main quest in The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall.
Walkthrough[]
The quest starts with the player being attacked by an undead. Killing the being provides the following message:
Stiched into the zombie's decaying flesh you see the following message:
Agent (Player's name),
It would be an honor to have you visit me in my demense at your convenience.
I have a small matter that you are ideally suited for.
As always, my servants will test your mettle.
Feel free to dispense with them. They can always be raised again.
The King of Worms,
Master of Scourg Barrow
Upon arrival at the Barrow, the Hero must speak with the King of Worms, who will direct the Hero to Castle Sentinel. Specifically, its crypts, to trap the soul of Prince Karolis. In return for this soul, the King of Worms provides both a physical reward, and a reward of information regarding the Underking.
