Spell Merchants are merchants in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. These merchants buy and sell various Spell Tomes, Staves, Robes, Soul Gems, and enchanted items.
Locations
Many spell merchants are usually Court Wizards in major cities in Skyrim. As such, they are often found within a Jarl's palace or longhouse. Other notable spell merchants are members of the College of Winterhold.
Spell merchants usually sell their goods from around 8am to 8pm. College professors are willing to sell their goods to their students all day. These merchants usually have 500 Septims to buy any items in return, and their businesses can often be invested in.

Spell merchants of Skyrim usually choose to sell a wide sampling of the various magical items that can be found in Skyrim, including spells, staves, and robes. Professors in the College of Winterhold sell spell tomes related to the school that they teach. The most commonly sold items are spell tomes and soul gems.
