Steel Cuffed Boots are a piece of heavy armor and part of the Steel Armor set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Locations
Steel Cuffed Boots will begin to appear throughout Skyrim at level 2. These locations include:
- Blacksmiths and General Goods Merchants.
- Found as random loot in chests or as a world item.
- Worn by Bandit Chiefs and Hired Thugs.
Smithing
Steel Cuffed Boots require a Smithing level of 20 and the Steel Smithing perk to create. They can be forged at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:
- 2 × Leather Strips
- 3 × Steel Ingots
- 1 × Iron Ingot
They can be upgraded with a Steel Ingot at a workbench and also benefit from the Steel Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
