Walkthrough[]
Lyranth meets the Vestige at the beginning of the Imperial City Prison. She offers to help storm the prison, as her clan suffered defeat at the hands of the Lord Warden.
Prisoners can be freed along the way using the cell levers to earn an achievement. Head into the dungeon to meet the Overfiend, who will be accompanied by a Harvester at low health.
The next boss is Ibomez the Flesh Sculptor, who will summon prisoners into the pool in the center at each quarter of his remaining health. They will turn into flesh atronachs if not defeated quickly. The prisoners can be quickly dispatched with flesh grenades that Ibomez throws around. The boss also takes reduced damage while the prisoners are present. All atronachs, including the one that accompanies him at the beginning, should be killed quickly as they will deal increasingly heavy damage. Finally, the boss will fear the party and stun a random player — a teammate must interrupt his charged attack to prevent instant death.
The Gravelight Sentry now needs to be dispatched. Next, the Flesh Abomination must be killed, which summons large Necrotic Hoarvors. Ranged AoE attacks are helpful here to avoid the poison pools and explosions.
Lord-Warden's Council, a group of four Xivkyn, stand guard in the area with traps. They will be immune to damage while any Bone Totems are present.
Finally, Lyranth and the Vestige confront Lord Warden Dusk. He will periodically split into four Shades, which must all be killed. Portals will appear on the floor, which will send anyone they touch high into the air, and will likely die from fall damage if the "Brace For Impact" synergy isn't used. Note that using the portals are necessary to avoid his channeled Darklight Burst attack, although he may not use this attack if defeated quickly enough.
With the warden defeated, Lyranth captures his Daedric anima, just as he did to her clan.
