- For other uses, see Sun Fire.
Sun Fire is an Apprentice-level Restoration spell found in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard.
Effects
Edit
Sun Fire casts a projectile of light similar to that of Firebolt which damages undead.
Locations
Edit
The tome can be bought if the Dragonborn has sided with the Dawnguard. Sorine Jurard at Fort Dawnguard will sell the tome after "A New Order" is completed.
It is possible to buy the tome if the Volkihar Clan is joined, by using a Calm or Pacify spell on Sorine Jurard during the "Destroying the Dawnguard" quest. Once calmed, she can be spoken to and the tome may be bought from her.
Trivia
Edit
- Sun Fire is classified as a Restoration spell, despite its destructive effect and its spell tome having the Destruction symbol on it.
- Sun Fire can be cast on the white orbs atop the pillars in front of locked gates within the Soul Cairn to unlock said gates.
- According to Florentius Baenius, the spell can be used to open caches hidden by the original Dawnguard. However, no such caches exist.
