Swamp Leviathans were creatures that were native to the swamps of Black Marsh,[1] the homeland of the Argonians.[2] They were massive and dangerous creatures, possessing nine-foot-long claws[1] and a back covered by spines.[1] Adding to the danger of the Swamp Leviathans, they had sharp tusks.[1] Swamp Levithans also possessed white eyes[1] which allowed them to better traverse the swamps of Black Marsh. After death, their skeletons are often infested with feeding rats, making the body's appear animated [1]
