Conflicting Information[edit source]
That page specifically says level effects it, this one specifies the opposite. It would be nice if someone could try and confirm either way, even if the conclusion was that it is unclear. Perhaps the amulet is indeed level-dependant but the magnitude is determined at a certain point before actually recieving it, such as at the quest start or the step before the reward is given. That would make it appear non-leveled if someone saves immediately before accepting it and then getting it as various levels AFTER the amulet's power is already determined. - I earned and received the amulet at level 57; I started the first special request at about level 45. Typically, the level cap for level dependency is level 50. The amulet I received was +20 to speechcraft, falling right in the middle of the range and indicating that it is not level dependent. I have yet to reload the save immediately prior to receiving it to check; can anyone confirm that a simple reload will give a different version? This would help clarify the confusion as well.
- Additionally, the page you posted didn't mention anything about being level dependent at the time I checked (immediately prior to posting this). Also, the page doesn't note the Amulet of Articulation as being a piece of the set and lists only the armor that is comparable to the initial Thieves Guild set.
- Hope this helps.
I tested this with Matching Set and found that it did not break the perk when worn. I wonder if there's a heavy armor necklace, too. 18.104.22.168 15:23, April 3, 2012 (UTC)
Possible bug[edit source]
I recieved the 35% amulet on the first attempt to get this amulet (yay!), and it even says 35% in the description of the amulet, but on the active effects list, it says the amulet of articulation is only giving me 25% better speechcraft. Idk if this is a bug or what.22.214.171.124 04:36, July 17, 2014 (UTC)
