When completing the quest "Blade in the Dark" ...

When you arrive in Riverwood, go to the inn and talk to Delphine. When Delphine is asked for the attic room, she will tell you that there is not any such thing, but she can give them the room on the left. When you go inside, she will talk to you about the Horn and give it to you. She will ask that you follow her to a secret room below the inn.

In the secret room as you go in, look to your right and there will be a weapons rack on the wall with an steel dagger, steel sword and Bolar's Oathblade :) Easiest way to find this sword i think! (Xbox: GT: emulous kepleR).

First of all, sign your posts with 4 tildes (~). Secondly, that's just a run-of-the-mill Blades Sword. There's only one Bolar's Oathblade, and it's in Bloated Man's Grotto.Mad Mike (talk) 03:00, March 6, 2012 (UTC)

Hercine's quest's effect on availability Edit

I acquired this blade at the Talos' Shrine in the Bloated Grotto despite not having done anything related to Hercine's quest or encountered any of the involved NPCs. The current wording of this page suggests that the recommended way to acquire this blade is to perform the quest, and should be changed. 01:42, February 11, 2012 (UTC)Joe Harner

Does it's enchantment need to be replenished?

Sign your posts. Yes. It does often for some fucking reason. Does yours have a low charge? Mine does. I acquired it around level 34. Draven Mephilés of Faerûn (talk) 16:51, July 14, 2013 (UTC)

How ironic my guy's name is Bolar :P

Talos' Shrine Edit

Talos' Shrine is where? I searched that cave from top to bottom and found no statue nor blade...

Does the sword have a max level it can fear, or does it scale with level, or is it unlimited
